Bosence & Boswyns

Bosence & Boswyns is a charity based residential detox and rehabilitation centre. Residential treatment takes place in a converted farmhouse in Bosence Farm, and comprises 14 single bedrooms. Boswyns offers a detox facility, which comprises 15 single, en-suite rooms. The Boswyns facility is situated in Bosence Farm, around 100 metres from the residential centre. Patients can expect a warm and comfortable environment.

Bosence & Boswyns offers a range of medical and psychological treatment services to help individuals address their alcohol and drug dependence.

During their detox at Boswyns, individuals can expect a focus on stabilisation and an assessment of complex needs. Detoxes will be tailored around an individual's requirements and will be supported throughout by the staff at Bosence & Boswyns. Medication will be prescribed by a medical officer and administered by nurses. Individuals will also have access to one-to-one therapy during their stay. Social activities will also be encouraged, and patients will have access to a library, gardening, table tennis, art groups and more.

Another key focus in the treatment process at Boswyns is to prepare individuals for their ongoing recovery at Bosence Farm. It is highly recommended that a detox in Boswyns is followed by a period of rehab at Bosence Farm. This makes the programme at Bosence & Boswyn much more comprehensive.

At Bosence Farm, individuals can expect to address their drug or alcohol dependence through a variety of one-to-one and group therapy sessions. Life skills workshops will also form an important part of the treatment services offered at Bosence & Boswyns. Other more holistic therapies offered at the residential facility include yoga, meditation, relaxation, and equine assisted psychotherapy. There is also a focus on religious, spiritual and cultural well-being at Bosence Farm, and outside activities include gardening, pottery, wood turning and art.
