Why a Rehab Centre? A residential detox centre will provide a safe environment to detox from drugs and alcohol. Once an individual is physically addicted to drugs and/or alcohol the detoxification process requires medical supervision. Following detox, the individual can then enter a programme of rehabilitation with various aftercare options available, all of which improve the individuals chances of long-term success.
This rehab clinic is located approximately one hour from Ipswich and 30 minutes from Norwich. There is also a direct train from London Liverpool Street. The clinic provides detoxification along with primary treatment programmes in a supportive, caring environment. Groups are held in our state-of-the art treatment facility and the residential accommodation is at the newly renovated ‘Albany’ which is just a two minute walk from the Award winning beach.
The Albany is fully staffed, providing 24 hour cover for everyone that chooses to stay with us. Using the 12 step recovery programme combined with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), the clinic can offer a number of programmes of differing duration that enable our clients to receive treatment for addictions including drugs and alcohol that is both effective and longlasting.
Each client will benefit from an assigned counsellor and keyworker throughout their stay, as well as complementary therapies such as auricular acupuncture.
This Addiction Rehab Clinic is a Grade 2 listed building that has been extensively restored and is set in 3 acres of landscaped grounds approximately 1 mile outside a town centre. We offer inpatient and day patient care, with a specialised nursing and therapy team treating a wide variety of mental health problems as well as addictions.
Addictions are now increasingly common and can affect all of us in some way. Making the decision to seek treatment can be one of the hardest you have to make, not only on a personal level, but also with the competing demands of family, work and daily routine. This is why the Clinic offers a flexible range of programmes to treat both substance and behavioural addictions, designed to meet individuals’ needs and lifestyles.
The alcohol & drug addiction programme is Consultant led and provides intensive treatment, education and support designed to help individuals face the reality of their dependency and promote the restoration of physical and emotional health. The programmes aim to minimise the psychological and physical distress of withdrawal by establishing abstinence in a safe and supportive environment.
The treatment centre is a residential treatment centre situated in a quiet suburb of Canterbury, Kent - the heart of the famous Garden of England.
We offer a programme of rehabilitation to men and women who wish to recover from alcohol and drug abuse, gambling, eating disorders, internet/gaming and sex addictions.
Our primary focus is upon enabling those who have lost direction to discover new possibilities and bring positive change to their lives. Our recovery programme is abstinence based and provides effective quality treatment for those starting out on the road to recovery. We use a combination of traditional 12 Step, Cognitive Behavioural and Motivational Enhancement approaches, drawing upon some of the latest research in the field. This approach is proving effective with clients who had previously undergone treatment without lasting results.
Our programme helps to re-build families and friendships and enable individuals to become productive and valued members of their communities again.
