SCRC has a large and committed team who are experts in their field including Addiction Counsellors, Doctors, Clinical Psychologists, Registered Nurses, and Social Workers plus many more. At SCRC the counsellors are available 24/7 as the centre recognises that during treatment help can be needed day and night.

SCRC is located in a small town called Ramsgate, South of Durban. The centre sits alone in 22 acres of stunning scenery and is only 1km away from a picturesque secluded beach.

Although the centre is easily accessible, it is far enough away from any potential addiction dangers, thus creating a safe environment with little temptation that could hinder recovery. The treatment team at SCRC also believe that good physical health is extremely important in the recovery process. As a result the centre�s facilities include 2 swimming pools, a gym, a paintball course, a dojo, a library as well an extensive range of other physical activities and outdoor pursuits that are available to residents throughout their stay.

SCRC emphasises the importance of self-discipline and respect for oneself and others and aims to enhance these qualities throughout treatment. The stimulating and secure environment gives the opportunity for clients to learn and practice life skills in a safe place. Strengthening these essential skills equips individuals for the challenges they are likely to face when they reengage in day to day life.
